about me!

I’m Elizabeth! I play the fiddle/violin, banjo, cello, and I write and sing original Americana/roots/”bluesgrass” music. I front a band called “Elizabeth and her Band” (nice and easy to remember), I play solo, and I sit in with all sorts of projects in Western North Carolina. This year I released an album titled “Songs I Sent you” that I recorded Out There Studios , and you can find it wherever you stream your music.

A couple things I’m extra proud of this year:

• Playing a headline performance for the Common Chords Concert Series at Oklahoma’s Woody Gutherie Center in October

• The invitation to play Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour in August - watch the recording here!

• Playing the Black Mountain Blues Festival in September

• Bringing my cutie band to A Swannanoa Solstice at the Wortham Theater in December

• Being a finalist for the NC Folk festival “Not Your Average Folk” contest

• Being a finalist for the Earl Scruggs Music Fest Banjo Competition.
