about me!
I’m Elizabeth! I play the fiddle/violin, banjo, cello, and I write and sing original Americana/roots/”bluesgrass” music. I front a band called “Elizabeth and her Band” (nice and easy to remember), I play solo, and I sit in with all sorts of projects in Western North Carolina. This year I released an album titled “Songs I Sent you” that I recorded Out There Studios , and you can find it wherever you stream your music.
A couple things I’m extra proud of this year:
Playing a headline performance for the Common Chords Concert Series at Oklahoma’s Woody Gutherie Center in October
The invitation to play Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour in August (watch the recording here!
Playing the Black Mountain Blues Festival in September
Bringing my cutie band to A Swannanoa Solstice at the Wortham Theater in December
Being a finalist for the NC Folk festival “Not Your Average Folk” contest
Being a finalist for the Earl Scruggs Music Fest Banjo Competition.
Here by accident? Here’s links to my psychotherapy practice and DEI coaching projects.
